We believe in stating the referral relationship plainly.

What the links are

Links on this site marked rel="nofollow sponsored" are Tesla referral links. When you order a new Tesla through one, the referrer earns Tesla/Supercharging credits, and you receive the UK buyer benefit (650 free Supercharging miles on a new Model 3/Y). It costs you nothing extra.

The rotating pool

Rather than funnel every referral to one person, we rotate a verified pool of UK owner codes and pick one at random per visit, so link-outs are shared fairly. Codes are treated as data — they rotate on the page and never get their own URL.

What we earn

If your code is in the pool, you may earn Tesla credits from orders placed via your rotated code. This site may also list its operators' codes in the pool. We don't charge you and we don't sell your data.

The conflict of interest, stated plainly

This site is a set of calculators, funded by referral links. That combination has an obvious hazard worth naming rather than glossing: a calculator paid for by referrals has an incentive to make the referral look large and the alternatives look small. Every default value on this site is a place where that bias could hide.

Three things we do about it, all of them checkable:

• Every rate is editable. No p/kWh, tax rate or mileage figure is hard-coded into the result. If our defaults flattered the referral, you could correct them in seconds — which is the point. Defaults are examples with a check date, not recommendations.
• The referral is ranked honestly against bigger levers. On the charging pages we say that getting your energy onto a cheap home tariff matters more; on the salary-sacrifice page that the tax mechanics dwarf it; on the model comparison that it's identical on both cars and shouldn't influence the choice. If the referral were the biggest number, we wouldn't need to keep saying it isn't.
• Nothing pays out on a click. A referral only produces anything if a real order completes and a car is delivered. A page that talked you into the wrong car would be worth nothing to us, and a figure you later discovered was wrong would be worth less.

Where you should distrust us

More useful than a promise of impartiality. Treat our output as a planning figure and not an answer wherever these apply:

1. Anything tax-related. BiK bands, VED rates and thresholds and grant eligibility are set by government and revised. We date them and link the source; the source wins.
2. Anything about your own scheme or supplier. Salary-sacrifice terms, install quotes and electricity tariffs are specific to you. We model mechanics, not your contract.
3. The referral figure itself. Tesla changes this programme without notice. If our figure and your order summary disagree, your order summary is right and we are out of date.

What we will not do

• Publish a figure we can't source. Where something is unverified we say so, even when a confident number would read better.
• Claim our code is worth more than anyone else's. Every valid referral code opens the identical benefit — there is no premium code, and a site suggesting otherwise is describing something that doesn't exist.
• Hard-code a rate so the result quietly goes stale. That's the failure mode this whole site is built against.
